LANSING, Mich. - The Greater Lansing Area Club of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs honored several LCC leaders at the 38th Annual Founders Day Awards Ceremony. Honorees were:

  • Dr. Toni Glasscoe Associate Vice President External Affairs, Development & K-12 Operations

  • Trustee Robert Proctor

Dr. Glasscoe received the Sojourner Truth Award, Trustee Mathews received the Community Service Award, and Trustee Proctor received the Frederick Douglass Award.

The theme for the 2021 ceremony, held virtually earlier this month, was “Women Connected & Concerned about Community.” The Greater Lansing Area Club of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs is a national women’s organization with a membership of business and professional women committed to strengthening society. They work to exemplify what it means to be part of an organizational body that is diligent, bold, and unwavering in its efforts to grow the communities in which they live. Their programs focus on empowering youngsters, adults, senior citizens, and business and professional women.

We congratulate our LCC leadership for their extraordinary contributions to the Greater Lansing Area Club of The National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs, and to the Greater Lansing community.
