The Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce has announced that thirty-one outstanding leaders have been named to its seventh Leadership Lansing program. Class participants will spend the next eight months honing their individual leadership skills, becoming familiar with key institutions and issues in the region, and connecting with community leaders.

Leadership Lansing is a talent initiative that runs annually from October through May and is designed to develop a new generation of community leaders in the Lansing region. Upon completing the program, participants will have a greater understanding of how essential community institutions contribute to the region's overall quality of life. Participants will also receive extensive training to enhance their leadership skills, which will benefit their performance inside their organizations and the community.

“Our members have told us for years that attracting and retaining talent is their number one priority,” said Tim Daman, president & CEO, LRCC. “Leadership Lansing is an initiative designed to support efforts to promote the development and sustained success of leaders in our region.
