Lansing 5:01 Teams up with Downtown Lansing Inc. for The BLOCK:AID, Thursday, October 6 in Downtown Lansing

Lansing, Mich. – For Lansing 5:01, keeping professionals in Lansing is key to the cultural and economic growth of the region. Building on their efforts over the last seven years to retain and attract talent, Lansing 5:01’s The BLOCK:AID returns this fall to showcase the best of Downtown Lansing to Lansing’s future on Thursday, October 6.

“We hosted The BLOCK:AID this past June, and it was a booming success. Thousands of community members visited Downtown Lansing last summer and this summer to experience the resurgence of the area and to support local businesses, artists, and vendors. We are excited to bring this event to life in the fall,” said Christopher Sell, executive director and founder of Lansing 5:01.

The BLOCK:AID will take over three blocks in the heart of Downtown Lansing, and is brought to the community through a partnership between Lansing 5:01, Downtown Lansing Inc., and the City of Lansing. Presenting sponsorship support provided by Boji Group, Dewpoint, and Gillespie Group will help the event feature larger-than-life installations and activities, a fashion show, local artists, boutiques, small businesses, food trucks and more to transform Washington Square. The evening will feature the musical offerings of Ozay Moore, All of the Above Hip Hop Academy, Swift Brothers, jazz, and a live karaoke bar.

The BLOCK:AID will begin at 5:01 p.m. on Thursday, October 6, 2022. Attendees can RSVP and learn more about the event here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/the-blockaid-2022-fall-edition-tickets-410633916097
