MAP test results of nearly 4.4 million students in grades three through eight indicate a learning loss of 5-10 percentile points in math during the pandemic, according to a recent NWEA study. To help address learning loss in Michigan, Sumdog, an online learning tool providing personalized math and spelling, is hosting a FREE math contest through March 4 for schools and students across the state to improve math skills, and build confidence.
