LANSING, MI – Edge Publicom announced today the addition of Nicole Hankwitz as vice president to its growing agency in downtown Lansing.

Most recently, Hankwitz served as director of the Senate Majority Communications Office under Senate Majority Leader Arlan B. Meekhof and executive director of the Senate Republican Campaign Committee for the 2018 election cycle.

Previously, she was vice president of The Sterling Corporation where she grew the company’s fundraising practice and led the fundraising efforts for the Senate Republican Campaign Committee, Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville and Senate Majority Floor Leader Meekhof. She also worked with legislators in the Michigan Senate and Michigan House of Representatives on key legislative issues facing the state.

Nicole received her Bachelor of Arts in Advertising from Michigan State University (MSU). She then went on to get her Master of Arts in Public Relations from MSU.

During her time at the Senate, Nicole expanded her talents as an effective messenger to constituents, organized community outreach, created public relations plans and completely reinvented the social media and digital platform for state senators.
