Jaime Counterman Director of Ele's Place Grand Rapids joins the Michigan Business Network to talk about Ele's Place 5th Annual Fall Reception held on November 15.

Ele's Place is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support for grieving children and their families. It was started in 2013 by three founding families, all of whom were traveling each week from West Michigan to Ele's Place in Lansing. Since 2013, Ele's Place Grand Rapids has partnered with over 600 youth and their families as they navigate their grief journey.

The Ele's Place 5th Annual Fall Reception will be held on November 15 from 6pm to 8pm at New Vintage Place, 889 Broadway Ave NW. Austin Hatch, renowned former University of Michigan basketball player, and survivor of two plane crashes, will be providing a keynote address. The event will also serve to honor the Ele's Place 2018 Visionary Award recipient, Sue Jandernoa.

The event is open to the public and tickets are $100:

In addition, Giving Tuesday (November 27) is a great opportunity for nonprofits, like Ele's Place, to raise funds to support their mission. Those interested in donating to Ele's Place can donate here: www.elesplace.org/donate.
