LANSING, MI – Small businesses positively impact Michigan communities and bolster the state’s
economy and Edge Partnerships contributes to this impact every day.
In recognition of the importance of small business, the Small Business Association of Michigan
(SBAM) recently awarded the Lansing-based public relations and marketing agency its Small
Business Certified designation.
To qualify for the certification, small businesses must have less than 500 employees and annual
gross revenues equal to or less than $25 million. Edge provides professional services for local,
state, and nationwide clients.
“We may be a small business, but we all work together to garner big results for our clients,”
said Edge CEO Lorri Rishar. “Becoming an official certified small business helps set us apart and
demonstrates the critical importance of small business to Michigan.”
A long-time supporter of small business, Rishar most recently served as chair of the SBAM
Board of Directors and will continue to serve as immediate past chair. She also earned
recognition as an SBAM Small Business Advocate of the Year. Edge co-founder, state Rep.
