Cinnaire | Names Vice President Asset Management, Chicago Underwriter

Cinnaire has announced the appointment of  Josh Ghena as Vice President, Asset Management, in our Grand Rapids, MI, office. Ainsworth Thompson has joined Cinnaire as an underwriter in our Chicago, IL, office.

Josh-Ghena-web-300x286As Vice President, Asset Management, Josh will oversee Cinnaire’s Stabilized Asset Managers, Asset Stabilization Experts, and the REO Portfolio Manager. Josh joined Cinnaire in 2014. Prior to this promotion, he held positions of increasing responsibility including Asset Manager, Asset Stabilization Expert, and Director of Special Assets. In each of his roles, Josh has refined Cinnaire’s asset management process and has developed tools that allow for more efficient and effective portfolio analysis. Prior to joining Cinnaire, Josh provided technical assistance to distressed HUD Grantees. As a technical assistance provider, Josh specialized in CDBG, HOME, and NSP funds. Josh earned his B.S. from Calvin College and his M.S. from the University of Wisconsin.


Ainsworth-Thompson-web-300x286In his role as Underwriter, Ainsworth will be responsible for financial modeling, risk analysis, reviewing due diligence, leading due diligence calls,preparing investment committee reports and performing site inspections. Prior to joining Cinnaire, Ainsworth served as a Community Investment Operations Specialist at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago. His experience also includes his role as a Commercial Real Estate Account Executive at South End Capital Corporation and a Senior Loan Consultant at Residential Mortgage Services. Ainsworth earned his M.S. from Roosevelt University. He is a member of the ICSC and ULI.
