Staff Funded Initiative Supports Diverse Organizations
Cinnaire recently joined PK Development Group and Uptown Reinvestment Corp. (URC) for a hard hat tour at the Marketplace Apartment complex in Flint, MI. The former YWCA building in downtown Flint has been demolished to make room for the Marketplace Apartments, a four-story mixed use building providing 92-units of mixed-use housing. The project will also include three retail spaces. Cinnaire provided a $9.5 million Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) investment to support the $19.5 million project.

Serving Ingham and Eaton Counties
The mission of Small Talk is to provide a comfortable, child-friendly atmosphere where children receive coordinated services during the child abuse investigative process. After law enforcement receives a report of abuse, the goal is to conduct one interview by a trained professional to avoid re-victimizing a child with repeated, unnecessary interviews. The donation from Cinnaire Cares will sponsor Small Talk’s 6th Annual Auction for Advocacy: A Night to End Child Abuse. The annual event raises important funding critical to supporting Small Talk’s mission to support children and families impacted by child abuse.
