Cockpit of the Future is an advanced group of Forvia, aiming to bring smart life on board concept to life. Automotive cockpits are becoming increasingly intelligent and complex. Forvia’s mission is to create holistic systems in which all its key products interact together to improve the user experience and HMI.

To address the interior system complexity, Forvia developed a bespoke modeling and simulation approach based on “model-based System Engineering” (aka MBSE). We will show how MBSE can model system complexity and translate it into intuitive KPI. Ultimately, MBSE provides the ability to conduct digital tests instead of physical tests. We believe it is only a question of time before car manufactures will impose it to their suppliers.

On May 4, 2022, the Forvia Cockpit of the Future team will present an MBSE application enabling not only to develop better products faster, but also to greatly facilitate collaboration with the car makers.
