The automotive industry is making great strides in green mobility and sustainability. The Center for Automotive Research and Altair want to highlight and honor automotive manufacturers and suppliers leading the way in sustainability through the 2021 Enlighten Awards. Two new award categories are:
- Sustainable Product: Production vehicle (or major system module) award recognizing emissions, lightweight, and safety advances.
- Sustainable Process: Manufacturing award recognizing material reuse/recycling and water conservation advances.
The Enlighten Award judging panel is an independent panel of carefully selected, recognized industry experts who are exceptionally qualified to evaluate the best of the industry’s efforts in sustainability. Join us on Earth Day 2021 for a conversation with the judges on emerging technologies and processes contributing to sustainability in the automotive industry and the judging criteria that each will be looking for this year.
