Vicki Hamilton-Allen talks to local lawyer, John Mashni of Foster Swift Collins & Smith about something other than law. Mashni recently penned a fairy tale about a Tooting Princess. You will have to get a copy to enjoy the fragrant details of this new children’s book that is really full of beans! This podcast is filled with valuable lessons including how to be entrepreneurial as a growing family and how he used the production of this book to instill life lessons and basic business skills to his children such as: budgeting, planning, and philanthropy to name only a few.

Listen below to Vicki Hamilton-Allen and John Mashni discuss the inspiration for the book and the implications that has had for him and his family.

Beyond this interview shared above, John wrote an article on why he wrote a children’s book:

Why I Am Writing a Children’s Book (And having more fun writing than ever before).

About John Mashni

John Mashni is an attorney, professor, writer, entrepreneur, movie producer, and now children’s book author. John’s first children’s book is a re-telling of his children’s favorite bedtime story. It’s the story of Cinderella, with John’s own unique twist.

One of John’s main motivations for writing a children’s book has nothing to do with the actual book. For years he dreamed of being able to work with his children in a way that would make them proud.
