BBB® Alert | Complaints about Enchanted Diamonds Spike, Business Appears Closed

Detroit, MI - June 26, 2019 –BBB Serving Metropolitan New York (BBB) is issuing a consumer alert for Enchanted Diamonds, a jewelry business located at 1430 Broadway, New York, NY 10018.

BBB recently received a spike in complaints from consumers about transactions with the business. As of June 20, 2019, the website (http://www.enchanteddiamonds.com) for Enchanted Diamonds is not taking orders and the telephone number, (888) 816-0610, has been disconnected. It appears that this business has ceased operations. 
(news reportly indicate they have filed for bankruptcy)

BBB has received complaints from consumers located in California, Georgia, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Texas. BBB Metro New York has suspended the BBB Accreditation of Enchanted Diamonds.  

One Perry, MI woman told BBB she ordered a diamond for around $8,000 that she never received. She said she had seen similar complaints about the business online and requested a refund. She never received the diamond or the refund.
