DTX Launch DetroitChris talks with Betsy Creedon, Director of Entrepreneurial Services, at TechTown Detroit, about the DTX Launch Detroit Program. This is an intensive 10-week summer program for college students and recent graduates (including grad students) aspiring to launch a technology startup.

Participants will receive a stipend of $2,500 per individual (up to $7,500 per venture team) to test out their entrepreneurial dreams. This program can be considered a paid internship by some of the area colleges. It culminates in a showcase day, giving participants the opportunity to make a pitch to potential strategic partners, advisers and investors. Betsy closes out this segment highlighting some of the startup ideas.
