American Advantage Home Care to Add Two Offices: Detroit, Trenton

DEARBORN, Mich. – American Advantage Home Care, a Dearborn-based, full-service home health care agency that provides skilled medical care 24/7, is opening additional offices in Detroit and Trenton Aug. 1, 2021.

The new offices will serve as regional administrative hubs, supporting American Advantage’s patients in Wayne and Monroe counties. The offices are located at:

  • Durfee Innovation Society, 2470 Collingwood Street, #327, Detroit.
  • 1545 Kingsway Court, Suite 102, Trenton.

The agency also operates a regional administrative hub in Grand Blanc.

“The counties of Wayne and Monroe are areas in which we have seen significant patient growth in the past year,” said Cleamon Moorer Jr., DBA, president. “Indicators show there is additional interest in our services in those areas, and these new offices will support that growth.”

American Advantage is also hiring clinicians and accepting new patients in Wayne and Monroe counties as well as across its geographical service area of southeastern Michigan.

Since Moorer and his wife, Nicole Willis-Moorer, purchased the agency June 2019, daily patient census has increased 1,000%. Moorer credits the increase to the agency’s patient-centric focus, its multi-cultural staff, and clients’ desire to receive health care services at home during the pandemic.

“We demonstrated that home care can deliver quality results economically in the comfort and safety of one’s home. And with today’s new technology, we’re even expanding norms of what’s expected in-home health care.”

American Advantage Home Care provides skilled home health care services to those recovering from illness, surgery or injury, or those managing complex health conditions. A multi-cultural team of experienced professionals provides one-on-one care with patients in whatever setting they call home – private home, assisted living, etc. Services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, skilled nursing, home health aide assistance. medical social work and work injury recovery as well as helping coordinate community and private resources to maximize patients' functional independence.

Its geographical service area includes 10 counties: Monroe, Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer, and Saginaw, as well as eastern Washtenaw and Livingston.
