Executive Wealth Management LogoChris Holman catches up with Bert Herzog Executive Wealth Management of Brighton, MI (HQ); also has offices in Northville, Ludington and Jackson, MI, to discuss: If you are a boomer looking toward retirement in the next 2-10 years, it is time to get your retirement investment strategy out of the stock market.

In the interview they also cover:
Despite recent increases, the market is still being propped up by 5-10 high profile stocks and those investors who have 70%-80% of their portfolio in stocks could be looking at retiring at least five years later if they don’t make an investment correction NOW. It’s time to get risk off the table.

As we move toward a Post-COVID world, don’t be fooled because of the current apparent market increases. The third and fourth quarters are going to be different. It’s potentially a “dead-cat bounce” and if you’re younger, you can ride this out. If you’re 60 or older, your retirement investments probably won’t withstand the volatility.

There is no downside to taking risk “off the table.”
