Michigan Business Network recently held its annual Michigan Economic Forecast Series breakfast (mid-Michigan stop) and concluded with a positive 2018 review and look ahead for Michigan in 2019.

Part of the breakfast included the release of the Michigan Future Business Index Survey. The survey revealed that overall the Michigan business community is thriving! Despite optimism hitting an all time high across Michigan, Accident Fund Insurance Company observes from the MFBI some key challenges for businesses: Acquiring Talent Retaining Talent Health Insurance Cost Wage Inflation Concerns As a result of the first two challenges there has surfaced another business challenge of wage inflation concerns. About the Michigan Economic Forecast Series Since 2012, The Michigan Economic Forecast Series is an annual occurrence for the Michigan Business Network. Each stop is strategically located across the state of Michigan to include all the industries that collectively make up our states business climate.
