EventsFrom the 2015 Mackinac Policy Conference - Wednesday afternoon press conference, regarding the Talent Gap, shifts gears into a Q&A session as Michigan Governor Rick Snyder answers a question about prevailing wage, and then Mike Rowe, Founder mikeroweWORKS Foundation, and Host of "Somebody's Gotta Do It", answers a question on "what age children should be started on thinking about careers?", followed by the governor's reply to the same question.

Both also discuss the efforts of SKILLS USA. The press conference wraps up with a question on the level of involvement by the Construction Trade Union with the videos which had been announced earlier in the afternoon.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
