For November's CAMW! Success Story of the Month, Jeffrey Mosher spoke with Tony Willis, director of the New Economy Division at LEAP. Their conversation is about the responsibility educators and community advocates have, which is train and inspire the next generation to strive to be innovators to move the region forward.

The Lansing Economic Area Partnership, or LEAP, is a coalition of community leaders committed to building a prosperous and vibrant region where businesses can thrive. They work on some projects with Capital Area Michigan Works!

This organization also works to provide a fruitful region to attract new business development. Part of encouraging youth entrepreneurship, LEAP is hosting the Youth Startup Challenge. In partnership with InspireED and the Michigan Chamber of Commerce, the challenge is open to any middle school or high school student attending school in Ingham, Clinton and Eaton Counties.
