SBW welcomes Ty Forquer founder of 517 Shirts to tell his amazing story that lead to him becoming Dr. Forquer, Ph.d in Music from Michigan State University, to A&E editor for City Pulse, and founder of Lansing company 517shirts.

Forquer shares 517Shirts unique begining that involves a men’s lavatory at a bar in downtown Lansing. The hip shirts are not tourist items per se, but are made for Lansing residents who want to represent such iconic images as Lansing’s Triple Towers, known locally as Wynken, Blynken and Nod, a symbol of the city seen from distances beyond the limits.
