Flint, MI.  May 1, 2018 – The Sunday rides on the Flint River Trail will start on Sunday, May 7th and will continue every Sunday through October. The rides are leisurely and family friendly ride - usually of 12 - 16 miles with a short break mid-ride. The rides leave from the OLD Flint Farmers Market promptly at 2:00 PM. The rides are along the Flint River Trail and there are several destinations - including Stepping Stone Falls, Bluebell Beach, and the Genesee Valley Mall.

There is no charge for the rides and modest refreshments are provided at the end of the rides. It is a "just show up and ride" event, and no prior registration is required. These Sunday rides have continued for 20 years. Friends of the Flint River Trail is a chapter of the Flint River Watershed Coalition (flintriver.org).
