Lansing Mayor Andy Schor was among the attendees for Sparrow Hospital's annual EMS Appreciation Awards. Since 2013, the awards have recognized the best emergency Patient care in mid-Michigan. This year, EMS Medical Director of Sparrow Hospital Dr. John Dery presented distinguished service awards to Lansing's firefighter/medic Jenna Gutierrez and the Delta Township Fire Department.
