Education’s Business: Taking Positive Actions

leadershipMaking learning authentic is a primary mission of great K-12 educators. Orion’s Quest is a Michigan based non-profit that has been collaborating with prominent space contractors and entities so that actual research from the International Space Station is integrated into classrooms around our state and the nation. In this segment, Karl Klimek introduces Pete Lawrie, the executive director of Orion’s Quest. Companies and organizations that partner with this unique STEM organization are highlighted, demonstrating the power of partnerships that are alive and well in our schools.
