Seasoned Actress Establishes New Theatre!

Segment 1-KW: Born into the theatre world wouldn’t be too far off the truth for our first guest, Kate Willis. Acting since she was a child, Willis has taken acting seriously for over seventeen years and now she has taken on the biggest role ever as Artistic Director/Founder of the brand new Downeaster Theatre, coming this fall 2017. Willis’ career as an actor has always taken the lead and when she wanted to pursue this newest endeavor, she worked hard at creating a new environment for actors to development projects as well as act in many modern pieces.

Segment 2 - KW:  Willis’ Downeaster Theatre debuts its first professional play this September taking on the historical “The Laramie Project”. The play tells the true story of a young man who was brutally beaten and left tied to a wire fence for days. Why take on such a heavy piece from the start? Why not we think! Wednesday,

Members: $10

Senior/Military/Group: $8 (please present ID for Military pricing)
