Michigan Business Network
October 6, 2018 10:00 AM

AIAM LogoThe Aerospace Industry Association of Michigan would like to remind you about a very unique opportunity to participate in an upcoming aerospace expo. If you are interested in meeting new customers, suppliers and talent, this will be an event you and your staff will not want to miss.

Through our expansive industry network, AIAM has secured commitments from 7 global aerospace companies who will conduct one-on-one meetings with qualified suppliers.  Buyers will be on-hand from the following companies…

·      GE Aviation

·      Parker Aerospace

·      RCO Aerospace

·      Woodward

·      Bell Helicopter

·      Cessna Aircraft

·      Liebherr

The event will take place at Michigan Technological University in Houghton, Michigan. It will kick off with an evening networking reception at 5:00 PM on Monday, October 15.  One-on-one meetings will begin at 9:30 AM on Tuesday, October 16. Attendees will meet representatives from other aerospace companies from lower Michigan who are participating in the event.  They will also be able to walk the exhibit floor to visit with aerospace companies from across the Upper Peninsula.

Interested in meeting your next key hire?  You will also have an opportunity to mingle with select Michigan Tech students throughout the event.  It will also be a great chance to interact with various faculty and staff to learn more about the university.

Immediately following the Expo, the afternoon of October 16, attendees will have the option to tour Calumet Electronics which is only a few minutes away.

What is the cost for such an extraordinary event? Through our strategic partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corporation’s Pure Michigan Business Connect program and sponsorship from Flagstar Bank, this is being offered at no cost to those attending.  However, space is limited and you must register to secure your place to attend and if interested, apply for a one-on-one meeting.  This is truly a one-of-a-kind event.
