Pure Michigan Business Connect - Michigan Agriculture SummitJeffrey Mosher is sitting in for Chris Holman and is at the Pure Michigan Business Connect - Michigan Agriculture Summit. His first interview is with Tony Hall, of Busche's Fresh Food Market, a grocery retail chain with 15 locations, located in southeast Michigan. Tony explains that this Summit provides opportunities for connections, so they can get local produce direct, which keeps it very fresh for its customers. His business is hoping to make 80 connections during this Summit.

Jeffrey then talks with Tamara Davis, of Southwest Michigan SBDC. SBDC is in place to help people who are starting a business, growing a business, succession planning, how to access capital, business plan development and strategic planning. Its focus is small businesses, and they are at the Summit to let companies know SBDC is there to help those in the Agriculture business.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
