Paul Elam, Ph. D. President of Public Policy Associates, and Mary King, Executive Director on Crime and Delinquency review their organization's missions.

They then discuss an issue which they are both focused on -- Raise the Age Michigan. A campaign which aims to raise the age of juvenile court jurisdiction from 17 to 18 years of age.

This is a two part discussion with MBN's Jeffrey Mosher, covering its impact on the community and more specifically the business community about the issue which Dr. Elam covered with the following article; http://jjie.org/2017/09/11/how-to-create-an-effective-and-equitable-juvenile-justice-system-in-michigan/ .
