Lansing, Mich. - Lansing Community College is set to celebrate Black History Awareness Month with an array of special events. This year’s national theme, “African Americans and the Vote” explores the struggle to ensure that African Americans are able to fully participate in American democracy. To this end LCC has partnered with Lansing’s Office of the City Clerk to have voter registration available at this year’s events.

University Club of Michigan State University CEO & General Manager to Be Honored March 24 at ATHENA Awards Luncheon
Lansing, MI – Karen Grannemann, CEO and general manager, University Club of Michigan State University, will be recognized March 24 as the recipient of the 2019 ATHENA Leadership Award. Grannemann will be honored by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce at the annual ATHENA Awards luncheon, taking place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center in East Lansing.
