Lansing - Infrastructure in Michigan needs to be rebuilt and oftentimes governments are cash-strapped for roads, bridges, water and wastewater, and other public works.  How P3s (Public-Private Partnerships) are being utilized to meet the challenges faced by municipalities will be presented by the National Council for Public-Private Partnerships (NCPPP) at their P3 Showcase in Lansing on December 3, 2019.

David Lick has more than 40 years of experience in construction law, public-private partnerships, administrative law and alternative dispute resolution. He is a Shareholder with Foster Swift Collins & Smith PC Attorneys Lansing, Michigan.

The nation’s leading educational organization on the subject of P3s, presents this one-day symposium, Building Michigan’s Infrastructure Through P3s, which will highlight P3 activity and opportunity in Michigan with leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors.  Conference sessions will address and present keys to the development and execution of a successful P3 such as:

  • Understanding Michigan's regulations
  • How P3s can Address Transportation and Water Infrastructure Challenges
  • Funding and Financing the Project
  • What's on the Horizon for Infrastructure Opportunities in Michigan?

Among the featured keynote speakers will be Foster Swift attorney David M. Lick, a seasoned P3 attorney, and Paul C. Ajegba, P.E., Director of the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT). Mr. Ajegba has had years of experience with large scale P3 projects including the Us-23 Flex Route – a project nominated for the America’s Transportation Award.
