Mayor Schor Determined To Further Accelerate Growth Of Lansing
LANSING, MI January 12, 2018: Lansing Economic Development Corporation Board Meeting. 1000 S Washington Ave, Suite 201, (REO Town) Lansing, MI. This morning The Lansing Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) Board is set to welcome newly elected Lansing Mayor Andy Schor as he takes his seat on the EDC Board of Directors, during the first EDC Board meeting of 2018.
The LEDC manages economic development for the City of Lansing including the City’s Brownfield Redevelopment Authority (BRA), Tax Increment Finance Authority (TIFA), and Regional SmartZone.
“Lansing is moving in the right direction and I look forward to continuing to accelerate our growth,” said Mayor Schor. “I’m happy to be working closely with the EDC Board and Board Chair Andrea Ragan, and the EDC management company LEAP and its CEO Bob Trezise, to build a strong and stable future for Lansing.”
Friday’s board meeting was to cover a number of important agenda items including a proposed microloan for Mr. Taco in South Lansing, and the successful repayment of an EDC loan by medical device manufacturer Mobius.
