Eli Broad, a Detroit native and renowned business leader, graduated with honors from Michigan State University in 1954. In 1991, Eli Broad made what was at the time the largest gift made to a public business school. In its latest chapter of investing in Detroit’s resurgence, Michigan State University recently announced that it will take its Broad College of Business Executive MBA program to the city.
