Jeffrey Mosher catches up with Jon Baker, Administrative Director of Sparrow Laboratories, Lansing, MI. They cover Sparrow Health System’s new Center for Laboratory Medicine and what it means for Patient care. Sparrow recently held an open house for the public to learn about the facility. 

Sparrow Laboratories is one of the top 20 busiest hospital labs in the country and home to some 500 Caregivers. Sparrow Center for Laboratory Science opened for more advanced testing and quicker processing of the tens of thousands of Patient test results they receive every year. During the tour, Sparrow showcased the latest high-tech equipment analyzing DNA and detecting micro-organisms that foreshadow diseases.
