Michigan Business Network
November 29, 2017 12:00 PM

MEFS EventBright.pngThe Michigan Economic Forecast Series is an annual occurance for MBN. It has included six stops across the wide geography of Michigan each year since 2012. The one which is underway is this year's effort to once again provide insights for the upcoming year of 2018.

One highlight with the series is to announce the autumn Michigan Future Business Index is out in the field seeking small business' opinion on the state of business in Michigan at this time and what to expect in the upcoming months. Since 2006, the Michigan Business Network, the Accident Fund Insurance Company of America and Paul King owner of ROI Insight have been surveying business leaders and analyzing and reporting trends in the state’s small to mid-sized business economy. By mid-December the newest MFBI results will be released. Stay tuned for those results. AND if you haven't participated in the survey, please do so today!

Plans are coming together for stops in the Bay Region and Detroit, and after a trip next week to the Upper Peninsula we are looking forward to hosting our breakfast on December 12th. MBN's founder Chris Holman will host and MC a gathering for the presentation of that Michigan Future Business Index in Bath, MI at the Eagle Eye Golf Club. There will also be a panel of industry experts, who will discuss the Mid-Michigan economic, business, tourism, international business and community roundtable outlook for 2018.

Statewide Stops this year Include:

NOVEMBER 14 - Northern Michigan, Traverse City, MI

DECEMBER 8 - Upper Peninsula,  Marquette, MI

DECEMBER 12 - Mid-Michigan, Bath, MI

DECEMBER 14 - West Michigan, Grand Rapids, MI
