Michigan Retailers Association, Buy NearbyChris speaks with Tom Scott, of the Michigan Retailers Association. Tom provides an update on the Association, and the current industry regulations. They discuss the new tax changes that started on October 1, 2015.

Main Street Fairness legislation passed a law that out-of-state retailers that sell online must pay the State of Michigan sales tax. Michigan has been seeking this change in our system for decades. They also discuss current events and statewide campaigns to assist with local businesses, like the Buy Nearby campaign, which is designed to assist local owners and boost Michigan's economy.
