At Michigan Certified Development Corporation, our first and primary priority is the health and safety of our employees, lending partners, borrowers and the communities we serve. After assessing the impact and spread of the coronavirus and how we can positively impact slowing the spread of the virus, MCDC's leadership team made the determination to limit business related activities to essential meetings only.

To the extent possible, for the foreseeable future, in-person meetings will be replaced with phone calls and/or video conferencing. Unfortunately, this also necessitates the cancellation of the MCDC Hoops Madness Mixers planned for March 19th and 20th, respectively. Alternative social events will be held at future dates to be communicated by your MCDC Loan Officer.

These decisions were made with the interest of the greater good for all and under the advisement of the healthcare industry that social distancing is the most effective way to slow the spread of the virus. MCDC will continue with a "business as usual" approach as best we can and continue to process 504 and 7(a) loan requests effectively and with only limited disruption.

The leadership team will continue to assess the situation as it develops and modify our plans accordingly. We will continue to communicate updates with our employees and lending partners as more information becomes available. We appreciate your support as we do our part to reduce the spread of the virus and please know that MCDC is here to support our lending partners and borrowers through these challenging times.
