Josh Hundt, Executive Vice President and Chief Business Development Officer of the MEDC, Michigan Economic Development Corporation stops by the Michigan Business Network to talk about Michigan’s growth, E&I programs and the Toronto Global Forum.

Michigan’s growth: Michigan is renowned for its entrepreneurial ecosystem and focus on high-tech startups. Michigan is unique in the resources and programs available to entrepreneurs in any stage of their journey.

E&I programs: MEDC offers early stage funding and provides service to entrepreneurs through programs such as SmartZones, SBDC, BBCetc and first customer program. The E&I team also partners with universities to support entrepreneurs through mentorship and innovation hubs.

Toronto Global Forum: The 2018 Toronto Global Forum focused on navigating a world in disruption. Michigan, with an immense base of startups and technology driven companies, is at the forefront of this.
