me 2495.jpgChris Holman, Jeffrey Mosher and Tony Monge have been on the road to 10 events over the past 8 business days. Some of those reports have started streaming on our network broadcast and more stories will be shared as we move through November.

The weather in November for Michigan has been beautiful, and MBN has dropped by "Old Town" in Lansing Tuesday November 1st, for an Executive Welcome put on by the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday November 2nd was a busy triple-stop in Southeast Michigan. MVCA the Michigan Venture Capital Association had their Annual Awards Dinner. Detroit's Ford Field played host to the Detroit Regional Chamber and their V.I.P. reception featuring Detroit Mayor Duggan. That stop served as the kickoff to MBN's Statewide 6-stop Economic Forecast Series which will continue through mid-December. Just up the road that evening in Southfield, the MIBB, Michigan Israel Business Bridge held their MIBB Ambassador Awards Dinner 2016.

Thursday November 3rd the COBO Center hosted this year's Accellerate Michigan Innovation Competition. November 3rd-6th the MFEA, Michgian Festivals & Events Association held their 24th Annual Convention in Kalamazoo. MBN was on hand to help 'Party @ MI Place' host Sue Bila on Friday November 4th. We then headed north on Monday to be on hand Tuesday November 8th, election day, at stop number two on the statewide Michigan Ecnomic Forecast Series and the 2016 Traverse City Economic Forecast Breakfast, this put on by the TC Area Chamber. That was followed by the 2016 Traverse City Area Chamber Business Expo all held at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa.

The trip north wasn't over as we dropped into Petoskey, MI, and spoke with Andy Hayes of NLEA, the Northern Lakes Economic Alliance. Once across the Mackinac Bridge the destination was Marquette for the Wednesday November 9th Economic Forecast Breakfast hosted by LSCP, the Lake Superior Community Partnership, that marked the halfway point on the statewide Michigan Economic Forecast Series. Yesterday we gave morning coverage to BLM, the Business Leaders for Michigan annual Michigan CEO Summit. The afternoon had Jeffrey crossing back over to the Western side of the state to cover MWF, the Michigan Women's Foundation Entrepreneur You -- The Dolphin Tank Business Plans & Pitch Competition (western MI stop that followed up on the eastern MI competition the evening before).
