Major Technology Trends Impacting Associations

Michigan Society of Association ExecutivesPayam Pourkhomami, CEO of Osibeyond, shares insights on technology advances and the results of their research on the major technology trends impacting associations. Associations and nonprofits are lacking in adopting technologies to advance their missions. Recognizing that anything can be better or improved pays, and addresses how associations can move forward with strategic technology decisions.

In reviewing the research trends, Payam shared that a majority of organizations are moving to cloud services. He addresses that there are cloud options and reviews these in detail. In addition, he covers the benefits of cloud services and the change in mindset for cloud services accounting from capital expenditures to an operating expense model. Security issues for cloud services was also covered.
