Jeffrey Mosher talks with Katila Howard, member of the Business & Corporate practice group at Foster Swift Attorneys, Lansing, MI.

Katila was awarded the "Five Under Ten" Young Alumni Recognition Award for the University of Michigan Black Alumni Association. This award is given annually to five recipients who not only recently graduated from U of M but have also been recognized by their peers for contributions to their community and respective professional fields.

Katila practices here in Lansing and is a member of our Business & Corporate practice group, focusing on matters of employee benefits and Internal Revenue Code compliance while also working with nonprofit & tax exempt organizations.

Outside of her legal duties, she mentors minority law students and helps prep them for their interviews and Bar exams. She also speaks with elementary and middle school students from disadvantaged communities about the importance of education and perseverance.
