LANSING, MI —  The Information Technology Empowerment Center is pleased to announce the addition of Lori Adams Simon and Lu Battaglieri to its Board of Directors.

“Lori and Lu are strong additions to our Board of Directors,” said Kirk Riley, ITEC executive director. “I feel that they, as well as their respective companies—Sparrow and Delta Dental of Michigan—represent ITEC’s mission and beliefs: to bring educational opportunities to all members of our community.”

Simon serves as the Senior Community Advocate for Diversity/Inclusion for the Sparrow Health System.

“I feel that being on the Board of Directors of ITEC is a wonderful opportunity to serve the community,” Simon said. “I have a deep passion for the Lansing School District and I think this program really helps Lansing school children. So, I am honored to be on the board.”

Battaglieri serves as the Senior Vice President, Chief Public Affairs Officer and Chief of Operations for Delta Dental of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.

“It’s a very exciting opportunity and honor to serve on ITEC’s Board of Directors,” Battaglieri said. “I look forward to working with ITEC’s board to make a difference in the lives of at-risk youth in the Greater Lansing area.”
