Chris Holman and Joseph M. Campbell, Business Development Officer, LAFCU, discuss Member Business Lending numbers for 2017. Commercial Alliance of Troy Michigan (wholly owned by LAFCU and five other CU’s) collaboratively closed nearly $182 million in new business loans which was a 17.5 % increase over 2016. We also grew our servicing portfolio by $92 million in 2017 bringing our total servicing portfolio to a little more than $582 million.

"We are proud that our commercial lending organization is able to meet the needs of over a 100 credit unions in Michigan by providing commercial lending products to small and midsize businesses throughout the great State of Michigan; which allows for economic development and job creation.

Our forecasting shows that 2018 will be an even better year. This speaks volumes to our collaborative nature and ability to understand the needs of communities not just in our region but throughout the State of Michigan." - LAFCU
