2017 appears to be a booming year for investing! Invest Michigan, a nonprofit organization funded by the State of Michigan focuses on pre-seed and seed companies. They also co-invest with key partners in Michigan for all their investments.

In the first quarter of this year, Invest Michigan has already invested in 10 companies. Putting that into perspective, the most they had ever invested in a single year was 20 companies! There is startling growth in the tech sector here in Michigan and Invest Michigan is poised to capitalize on the opportunity.

This week’s guest on the Be Investable program is Charlie Moret, the President, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Invest Michigan. Charlie offers great insight into what a company should do to seek the best advisors, the best guidance, and where to seek funding at different stages of development. His thirty five-plus years of experience in investments, banking, entrepreneurship and business development shines through in this week’s interview. You won’t want to miss it!
