Detroit Technology Exchange Launch Detroit Highlights

Michigan Business Beat
August 31, 2015 9:30 PM

Regional BusinessThis year's Detroit Technology Exchange (DTX) Launch Detroit took place at TechTown, on July 30. Jeffrey speaks with Marianne Fey, Senior Director with DWH Corp, with offices in Grand Rapids and Detroit. She explains some of her career history, and then talks about her affiliation with TechTown.

That afternoon she had served as a DTX Panelist, helping to critique the 11 presenting companies. Nearly a hundred ideas were in the running for participation in this summer-long program. From the marketing standpoint, not only has this crop of students gained insight, but the mentors are better able to prepare the teams year by year. She also gives accolades to Techtown's Paul Riser, Jr. and Gerry Rosten, and the whole team.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
