Michigan Business Beat
August 31, 2015 12:30 PM

EntrepreneurshipAfter the Detroit Technology Exchange (DTX) team presentations, Jeffrey caught up with Shreya Arora, CEO and Co-Founder of Realtime, a company which helps people post and find local Pop-Up events.

She shares how the idea, formed in January, was able to leverage DTX to go from being everything to everyone, down to a more cohesive business model. Jeffrey then spoke with DTX veteran, Joe Tuchman, who had co-founded AiirShare, which essentially offered carpooling for plane trips. Joe shares the story of how DTX was a great experience, as his project was a part of last year's program. The company hit regulatory concerns and it closed the project down. However, now he's going on to mentor other entrepreneurs.

Michigan Business Beat, hosted by Chris Holman, discusses economic development, new or unusual entrepreneurial initiatives, and successful business practices from different regions and industries around Michigan with a wide range of entrepreneurs and business leaders.
