Delta Dental Shares a Smile with Michigan

Regional BusinessErica Bills met with Teri Battaglieri, Director, Corporate Citizenship and Philanthropy, Delta Dental of MI, OH and IN, Okemos, during Delta Dental's annual Share a Smile Day at Cooley Law School Stadium, where they spend an evening with the Lansing Lugnuts. This is their opportunity to not only raise community awareness for good oral health. Battaglieri also announced that Delta Dental was giving a check for $300,000,

to the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services, covering both community water fluoridation, and the Seal Michigan Children Dental Sealant Program, a program to help children avoid cavities.  She additionally shares how the Healthy Kids Dental Program has been expanded into Wayne, Oakland, and Kent counties for kids ages 0 to 12, now making it possible for approximately 850,000 Medicaid eligible children in Michigan to have better oral care.    .
