Dave Heisey: Emotional Intelligence

Michigan Business Beat
September 21, 2018 9:00 PM

EN_CCE_07B_SocialDave Heisey dropped by the MBN studios recently to discuss EQ the Emotional Quotient in Emotional Intelligence.

During the interview process it’s not uncommon for people to test your knowledge - looking at your IQ as a potential for future success. Once on the job, studies have shown that success depends less on IQ and more on EQ - your emotional intelligence.

Fortunately, emotional intelligence can be learned - and there are four key areas for potential growth for any leader: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness and Relationship Management.
