U.S. Representative Mike Bishop makes a visit to Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, MI to learn about MyChart Bedside. MyChart Bedside is a new and innovative, high-tech care that allows patients to check their vital signs and lab results, communicate with their care team, and learn more about their care. Sparrow Hospital is excited to be one of the pioneers in this new health IT.
Sparrow Hospital showcased a simulated MyChart demonstration to U.S. Rep. Mike Bishop and staff of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), a national body that promotes better health through information technology. Congressman Bishop and HIMSS leaders will learn how Sparrow is using health IT to drive quality and transform care for the mid-Michigan region.
