Wednesday evening, June 10, a VIP Reception was held near East Lansing, Michigan, upstairs at Copper, the restaurant at Walnut Hills Golf Club, giving thanks to those helping out Celebrate Downtown Okemos held Saturday June 13.

During this segment Jeffrey speaks with Chris Buck, Principal at CJ Buck Consulting, who also serves as head of Meridian Township Economic Development Corporation (EDC), a title sponsor for the event. He covers some of the EDC's big projects this year, and then shares how the community has come together for this annual event. Jeffrey also takes some time with Heather L. Conway, CPA of Conway CPA and Associates PLLC, of Okemos. She discusses MABA, the Meridian Area Business Association, their activities, and involvement in Celebrate Downtown Okemos.
