Capital_Area_LOGO.jpgCapital Area Michigan Works! recently announced the opening of the new Charlotte service center at 945 Reynolds Road and will operated by longtime CAMW! partner Peckham, Inc. CAMW! Executive Director Edythe Hatter-Williams spoke with Jeffrey about that opening.

Peckham, Inc. has partnered with CAMW! for nearly three decades. It has been committed to the workforce development system since the mid-1980s, providing services through the Job Training Partnership Act programs initially. Peckham provided Workforce Investment Act (WIA) Adult services from 1998 to 2011, and WIA Dislocated Worker services from 2009 to 2011. Peckham also has provided welfare-to-work services since 1994 through the implementations of Work First, Jobs, Education and Training (JET) to the present Partnership. Accountability. Training. Hope. (PATH) program. CAMW is looking forward to building upon our longstanding relationship with Peckham, Inc. as well as continuing to serve the Eaton County community the best they can. Job seekers and employers are encouraged to stop by to check out the new Charlotte service center to see how the services offered may be of assistance.
