Branch is also the recipient of an Emmy award for his work on “Precious Memories, Strolling 47 th Street”. Branch’s work continues into education and in 1978 he began teaching “Blues in the Schools” curriculum that has now been taught innEurope, South America, Asia, and most recently in Mexico where Branch taught the two-week program in Spanish! Branch also teaches ‘Grammy Museum Music Revolution Project”.

Branch has also had the chance to dabble in acting and appears in two cult classics from the 90’s “Adventures in Babysitting”, and “Next of Kin”, which starred the late actor Patrick Swayze. Branch and the SOB’s have made over 70 international tours and continue to shine on stages and venues across the globe.
